Crafted by Morris’s apprentice, J.H. Dearle, in 1912, this adapted design showcases Dearle’s mastery of large-scale, rhythmically swirling patterns. Retaining all of its ecstatic movement, Leicester boasts folding acanthus leaves and miniature, jewel-like flowerheads that readily soak up great depths of colour. Shown here in Paradise Blue.
